Meet the Team

Corrine WilliamsCorrine Williams, Administration & Operations
Corrine is a Contract Administrator for Denver Marketing Services and administrator and operations manager at Denver Community Media.  She has worked for the City and County of Denver since 2015. She is a Colorado native and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Corrine had the honor of project managing the systems and operational build-out of the Community Media Center; researching, developing and implementing the Denver Community Media access program and policies; and negotiating and collaborating with the City and our partners to make this creative and modern model of public access a reality. When she's not in work mode, she gets out to kayak the incredible whitewater Colorado has to offer whenever the rivers are flowing. Corrine also loves to indoor rock climb, hike, snowboard and just be outdoors. She sings and plays guitar for a local rock band and you can often find her at a show supporting the local music scene.

John Carroll

John Carroll, Production Technician

John has been with the City of Denver for over five years. He spent three years operating cameras at Red Rocks and has shot over 500 bands, from ZZ Top to Snoop Dog, and everything in between. Some of the concerts were featured on MTV and Country Music Television. John is a certified Avid editor and has taken courses on Apple motion, After Effects, Color Correction and more. John has worked on local sports shows, hanged out of airplanes making a documentary, and shot band videos in other countries. Something unique about John? He trained with several UFC fighters that have fought for titles in their weight classes. He's a genuine cage fighter!

 


Drew Wagner

Drew Wagner, Engineer/Multi-Media Technician

Drew comes to DCM with over 10 years of experience working in television and media. From starting as an intern with the Denver Broncos, to working on TV trucks with Fox Sports, to lead creative trainer at Apple, Drew has worked in a wide range of production environments. Most recently, he served as the Video Engineer for the Colorado Rockies where he helped build Major League Baseball’s first HDR control room and video board. He is excited to be at DCM to help our diverse group of community members bring their passion projects to life using our state-of-the art IP-Based studio and control room. Drew’s hope at DCM is to pass his passion and knowledge of production onto members of the community to help them direct and produce their own programs. Aside from production, Drew is passionate about spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, good BBQ (shout out to OwlBear and Roaming Buffalo), learning to fly fish, and watching F1. 


Jim Herald

 

Jim Herald, Administrative Support

A newcomer to the community media field, Jim comes to Denver Community Media after a 20 year career in retail management and customer service. Jim provides administrative and member support for Denver Community Media. A native of the Denver area, Jim is a graduate of University of Colorado Boulder and loves connecting with Denver residents. In his free time, he enjoys home improvement projects and traveling anywhere in the mountains of Colorado. He is most proud of a collection of over 1000 matchbooks from restaurants, hotels, and casinos all over the country. Matchbooks are getting harder to find so please let him know if you spot any around town.
