Become a Member

An all-access membership that includes all basic member benefits, plus production equipment rental (subject to availability and DCM's established production criteria), up to 48 hours of studio time (subject to availability and production criteria), and enrollment in the field equipment, editing, and studio certification and training classes at no additional charge.

An organization membership will give the organization three, year-long, All-Access memberships to DCM. The memberships are non-transferable between individuals within the organization. Should the organization desire to purchase additional memberships, this may be done at the rate of $500 for each additional member.

This membership level is intended to be used by recognized non-profit organizations as defined below:

• A registered non-profit organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Service standards, a 501(c)3 or 501(c)4 religious, charitable, or educational organization.
• Non-registered coalitions, organizations or associations that band together for non-commercial purposes to benefit Denver’s greater community.

Such organizations shall submit a written mission statement for review by the Access Coordinator for qualification.

To qualify for this discount, the member will be required to confirm that they qualify for a Colorado Cash Assistance Benefits program (ex. Free & Reduced Price School Meals) or show an ID that they are 65 years of age or older.

DCM would like to allow families the opportunity to participate in its service offerings. Family members can receive a 50% member registration discount when added to a full price individual membership. To be eligible for this family discount, the additional family members must be “immediate family” as described in D.R.M.C. §2-52. This family discount does not apply to members who qualify for the Bridging the Divide membership level as those individuals have already qualified for a 50% discount.

To qualify, the family member must provide proof of address, and memberships must be purchased in-person at the Community Media Center. Family 50% discounted memberships must be the same tier level as the higher priced ‘individual’ membership. Additional family 50% discounted memberships must be linked in the same household as the ‘individual.’

Colorado residents may submit programs for air on DCM cable channels, web streaming service and video on‐demand apps (subject to availability and production criteria). DCM membership is not required, however air times are at the discretion of DCM programming staff. Non-member program submissions are not eligible for play on DCM's web streaming and video on-demand apps and services. Registration and waiver required.
