Where Voices Come Together

Denver Community Media (DCM) provides access to video tools, training, creative space—everything the Denver community needs to freely express themselves through the power of video to make their ideas come alive. Marketing Services opened its new service arm to assist people with attaining the skills, support, and tools to successfully shoot, record, edit and produce their content to air on their own and DCM's social and cable media platforms. The DCM team collaborates and networks with community members in our creative, welcoming, and supportive environment.

Let's Give It Some Air

Welcome to Denver Community Media and thank you for your interest in submitting programming for broadcast on community access channels. Before submitting content, there are just a few things Denver Community Media producers need to know. First, please make sure to read the Programming Rights and Policy pages. These pages give helpful information to ensure content is submitted correctly. Second, every producer is welcome to submit individual or group projects. Being a producer for Denver Community Media is easy and there’s currently no cost to sign up. Most importantly, remember time on the channel is free, all you have to do is promote and spread the word. Thanks again for wanting to be a part of Denver Community Media!

Rocky Mountain AVXPO

We are thrilled to present a dedicated workshop focusing on two industry-leading editing programs: DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro. with our DCM Monthly Member-Crewed Productions where members can sign up to be a videographer, audio technician, stage manager, or shadow any of our staff members as they technical direct, operate the chyron graphics generator, and produce.

Have you taken the field, studio, or podcast studio classes? Want to hone in on a particular skill and grow as a media producer? Sign up for our monthly community media productions, and put your new skills into practice. We'll have experienced video production mentors working alongside you, coaching you, answering questions, and providing you with tricks and tips of the trade. There will also be opportunities to shadow and observe. After we wrap up, the content will air on the cablecast, DCM in the Cloud and Social Media channels!

First Friday Films

Tired of seeing your work on the small screen? Want a bigger audience? Submit your short narrative, documentary, or experimental film to be screened at First Friday Films. Join us from 6PM - 8PM every first Friday of the month and invite your friends and family to watch your short film on the big screen at Denver Community Media. After the show, we'll have a 30 minute open forum and Q&A session with the film creators.

Become a Member

Join our Community today! We have annual and monthly membership packages available to fit the diverse needs, budgets and creative aspirations all of our members. Memberships will include free airtime on our cablecast and social media channels, web stream and DCM on‐demand apps; access to the Community Media Center and its staff during open hours for media assistance; access to equipment rental and facility reservations; and access to trainings and classes. We look forward to meeting you!
