DCM would like to allow families the opportunity to participate in its service offerings. Immediate family members can receive a 50% member registration discount when added to a full price individual membership. To be eligible for this family discount, the additional family members must be “immediate family” as described in D.R.M.C. §2-52. An immediate family member is someone you live with, and/or provide day-to-day care and financial support for. This includes husband, wife, son, daughter, mother, father, step-son, step-daughter, step-mother, step-father, father or mother-in-law, son or daughter-in-law, brother or sister-in-law, half-brother, half-sister, aunt, uncle, nephew, niece, grandmother, grandfather, grandchildren, brother, sister, domestic partner, any person with whom they are cohabiting, and any person whom they are engaged to be married.
This family discount does not apply to members who qualify for the Bridging the Divide membership level as those individuals have already qualified for a 50% discount.
To qualify, the family member must provide proof of address, and memberships must be purchased in-person at the Community Media Center. Family 50% discounted memberships must be the same tier level as the higher priced ‘individual’ membership. Additional family 50% discounted memberships must be linked in the same household as the ‘individual.’
