We’ve got a full month of workshops lined up for Harvest Your Creativity!

Every October at Denver Community Media we celebrate our incredible members and staff mentors by hosting a series of free workshops and events all month long. Once again, all of our events are free and open to public! This Annual “Harvest your Creativity Membership Drive” culminates in an end of year Halloween Spooktacular Independent Short Film Festival and Celebration complete with film releases, food, prize giveaways, and a lot more fun!

Whether you're learning something new, sharpening your skills, or bringing a friend into the community — October is the time to JUST HIT RECORD.

3rd Annual Halloween Spooktacular

Join Denver Community Media for a night of film, food, and festive fun at our 3rd Annual Halloween Spooktacular!

This year’s celebration doubles as our Member Appreciation Night, bringing together Denver’s creative community for an evening of connection, creativity, and a little Halloween magic.

What to Expect

  • Premiere screening of The Haunted Sitcom (a DCM original short)
  • Screenings from First Friday Films submissions
  • Narrative projects from the My Voice, My Community workshop
  • Free food and drinks

DCM partners with other not-for-profit and public serving organizations to empower the youth and adults in our community to develop their video production and storytelling skills and to JUST HIT RECORD.

Located in the Buell Media Center with our partner, Rocky Mountain Public Media (PBS). Join our community, tell your story, connect with other multi-media producers and network with industry professionals.
